“Why be good, when the bad guys have so much fun?”
I always rather liked Summers as a villain. He wasn’t really the “character I loved to hate” (that came along later *cough*) but I enjoyed him because he was up front about his reasoning. “I’m being bad because I can, and it’s awesome.” Sure the doctor thing was way over the top, and all those roses probably sent some florist on a very nice vacation, but he was a fun bad guy.
Although I will say, it was both amusing and alarming that he just kept randomly showing up in Alex’s flat. Usually in the middle of the night, while she was asleep. Um, Alex? Maybe changing the locks after the first time would have been a good idea? Or maybe mentioning to someone that a creepy dude kept wandering into your flat? Just a thought…
